About the wine…

A Bordeaux Blend is a combination of two or more classic varieties. Stellenbosch 1679 The Legacy, however, is a culmination of five bold varieties, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Cabernet franc. When maturing this decadent red wine, brand new French oak barrels are used.

This lush wine is best complimented by game, beef and lamb dishes and often is the best answer to a cold winters evening. Indulge in this unique and award-winning Bordeaux Blend to experience its legacy for yourself.

This is as a result of a ‘something’ that occurred in 1941, where families were brought together and bound for generations to follow. Today, we find that the third and fourth generations of these families are all still actively involved in the production of this fine wine.
